WHAT IS A RESTAURANT WEEK YORK?

Restaurant Week York is the biggest culinary celebration our town has ever experienced. It's the time to visit the restaurant you've always wanted to try and return once again to the neighborhood spot you've loved for years. No matter where you rest your fork, you'll be part of a citywide celebration of our great establishments and talented chefs who serve up fresh, innovative cuisine every day ... because it's about the food.

Restaurant Week York’s goal is increasing awareness of the many dining opportunities available in our City, as well as stimulating business and revenue for restaurants in York, PA.

What is a Theme Week?

Kinda like a Restaurant Week Light--Innovative, collaborative, and passionate but without all the online menus and formality. Expect a list of participants but not big updates to the website. These are more social media driven.

WHEN IS RESTAURANT WEEK YORK?

There is Restaurant Week: February 16-25th. Ten days over breakfast, lunch, and dinner to celebrate, discover, and treat your taste buds.

When are the Theme Weeks?

There are THREE Theme Weeks: Cheese Week April 20-27, Burger Week July 20-27, and Drink Week September 21-28.

WHO PARTICIPATES?

Many of York City’s favorite dining venues participate, offering chef-selected and exclusive dishes. We will also feature pop-ups, special events, and collaborations between chefs.

IS CARRYOUT & DELIVERY AVAILABLE?

Delivery & takeout will be indicated on menus when they are submitted. We will strive to keep this information up to date, but it is only as accurate as what we were given, so please call ahead.

WILL THERE BE FIXED-PRICE MENUS?

Some. All participants are required to submit at least one of the following for Restaurant Week: A Fixed Price Menu, a Special Event, A Collaboration Event, or a Special Menu.

WHEN WILL THE DETAIL STUFF BE REVEALED?

The goal is a few weeks out. Enough time for restaurants to pin stuff down, enough time for us to produce all the menus and map, and enough time for you to start calling your friends.

DO ATTENDEES NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND THE EVENT?

No ticket needed unless otherwise noted for special events. However, reservations are highly recommended if dine-in is available, as restaurants fill up quickly. The featured offer at each participating restaurant is available to anyone attending Restaurant Week York.

WILL THE MENUS VARY?

Yes. Menus will vary based on participating restaurants’ culinary specialties.

ARE THERE MENU OPTIONS FOR VEGETARIANS?

Many of the participating venues will offer a vegetarian feature during Restaurant Week York. It is recommended, but their choice ultimately.

DO YOU HAVE TO ORDER OFF THE RESTAURANT WEEK YORK FIXED-PRICE MENU DURING THE WEEK?

Not necessarily. Most restaurants will be offering their daily menus as usual. To receive the fixed-price price, you must order the participating restaurant’s Restaurant Week York special. Check with the restaurant about it’s regular menu.
